Professor Albert A. Michelson of the University of Chicago, noted scientist is ill at the Albert Merritt Billings Hospital, where he was taken a week ago, it was learned today.
Professor Michelson, who is 75 years old, is being treated for anemia and digestive trouble. His condition is reported as showing steady improvement.
ROUMANIA OBTAINS LOAN FROM FRANCE, BUCHAREST HEARS
The Bucharest press published a report yesterday that France has agreed to advance Roumania 300,000,000 francs (about $12,000,000) for the stabilization of the leu an Associated Press despatch from Bucharest states.
The matter, it was said, would be finally negotiated with representatives of the Banks of England and France this week, and it is expected that the German Reichsbank will also participate in the stabilization loan, the despatch states.
