Professor A. L. Sacher, of the University of Illinois has been appointed pro tem director of the Hillel Foundation at Champaign, Alfred M. Cohen, president of the Independent Order B’nai Brith announced. The appointment was made with the consent of the university faculty.
The late Rabbi Benjamin Frankel was director of the Foundation at Champaign as well as national director.
The appointment of a national director for the Hillel Foundation has been postponed.
