Salo Baron, professor of Jewish history and literature at Columbia University, sailed Wednesday for Germany on the United States liner Washington to interview German-Jewish scholars at the request of the American Academy for Jewish Research which is planning to offer fellowships to German-Jewish scholars in American universities.
Professor Baron will read a paper before the International Congress of Historical Science to be held in Warsaw. If time permits, he will also attend the World Zionist Conference in Prague.
