Professor Salomon Kalischer, famous scientist, professor at the Berlin Technicum died today at the age of 79. Professor Kalischer, who was a near relative of Rabbi Hirche Kalischer of Bialystok the father of the movement among Russian Jewry to rebuild Palestine, was one time president of the Union of Jewish Communities in Germany.
