Sir Elly S. Kadoorie, who has just been visiting Palestine, has promised funds for a new building for the Alliance Israelite Universelle Girls’ School, to substitute for the present small building. The new premises will cost about £30,000, and will be put up on Jaffa Road, Jerusalem. Room for 1,500 girls, both in the elementary and trade training schools, is contemplated.
