The Egyptian press is urging the Government to interest itself in the revival of the Sinai Peninsula, especially in regard to agriculture.

The press calls upon the Government to restore the wells which were destroyed during the war and to provide facilities for settlers to establish farms there.

Supreme Court Justice Nathan Bijur denied an application by the Left Wing and Communist Joint Board of Cloakmakers seeking the return of collateral on which the board obtained $389,000 from the International Union Bank.”
