Special services commemorating the victims of the Nazi regime will be held in Berlin’s synagogues next Sunday. Meanwhile, Heinz Galinski, chairman of the Berlin Jewish community, has proposed the establishment of a “remembrance day” for the Jewish victims which could be observed nationally.

The “peace with Israel campaign” has transmitted 30,000 deutschemarks which it raised throughout Germany to the Jewish National Fund. The first grant made by the “campaign” was of 10,000 marks to the Jewish Welfare Board of Germany.
