The first major step in the campaign to ban all Nazi-made goods from City College was taken yesterday afternoon when Israel Sohn, president of the Menorah-Avukah Conference, announced that an open letter of protest will be sent to President Frederick B. Robinson immediately.
At its regular weekly meeting yesterday the Menorah group made official the petition requesting President Robinson to use his influence to prevent the school from buying German goods and passing them on to an unwilling student body.
