The House of Bishops of the Protestant Episcopal Church, which is currently meeting here, today adopted a resolution calling for the internationalization of Jerusalem.
Asserting that they were “mindful of the unique character of Jerusalem” and of the conflicts resulting from its history, the Bishops insisted that internationalization is the nearest approach to just recognition of the claims of the three religious groups involved. The resolution also urged the United Nations to use its moral influence to aid the Arab refugees and fix the Palestine boundaries.
