Prof. Eduard Goldstueeker, an important figure in the now-aborted Czechoslovakian liberalization movement, will teach comparative literature at Sussex University as a visiting professor this year. Prof. Goldstuecker has been given a leave of absence by Charles University in Prague, where he is vice rector, and has arrived in Britain. He is chairman of the Czech Writers Union and has been the target of polemics in the Soviet press since the invasion of Czechoslovakia.
