A city-wide celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of Moses Maimonides was held at the Jewish Institute here. Dr. Abraham I. Schechter was chairman. Speakers included Rabbi Morris Gutstein of the Touro Synagogue of Newport and Dr. Louis I. Kramer.
