The Government White Paper on Palestine, despite recurrent rumors, will not be issued until May 23 or 24, it was learned today. The document embodying the British Government’s definitive proposals for settling the Palestine problem is now on the press. It will be forwarded for informational purposes before publication to the governments of the United States, France, and all the Arab states neighboring on Palestine represented at the recent London conference, and to the secretary-general of the League of Nations.
