Luis Munez Marin, Governor of Puerto Rico, has issued a proclamation designating 1960 as Solomon Ibn Gabirol year, in memory of the 11th century Spanish-Jewish poet. This is the second such proclamation, the first having been issued by Mayor Wagner of New York City last January.
