An official Nazi organ was suspended today for the first time in the history of Nazi rule.
The newspaper in question is the Wochenschrift, which has been forbidden to publish any issue until March 17. The action against the Wochenschrift is ascribed to its attack upon Berlin newspapers which continue to employ Jewish ex-soldiers.
The Wochenschrift made its attack in a front-page article in which it referred to the small number of Jews thus employed as “Co-ordinated Reichsbanner Jews.” The Relchsbanner, a republican guard was banned by the Nazis immediately on thier coming to power.
