Moshe Kol, director of the Youth Aliyah movement in Israel, was received here in a private audience by Queen Juliana. He presented to the Queen an album of photographs depicting the daily life of children in “Kfar Juliana,” an Israeli village near Hadera, named in her honor. Mr. Kol invited the Queen to visit the children’s village.
The Queen of the Netherlands exhibited great interest in the educational work of the Youth Aliyah movement, Mr. Kol said after the audience. He reported that he had also brought to the Queen special greetings from Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, whom he met on his recent visit to the United States. Mrs. Roosevelt is a world patron of the Youth Aliyah.
