Queen Juliana today paid a visit to an exhibition of photographs entitled “Women of Israel,” which is being held in the Fodor Museum here under the sponsorship of The Netherlands WIZO on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of that organization.
The photographs are the work of Sam Waagenaar, prominent American Jewish photographer, who came here from Paris for the opening of the exhibit. The Queen commented on a number of photos which were published in the novel “Exodus,” which. she said, she read with considerable interest.
