Approximately 500 persons, including 112 delegates, their families and visitors, are expected to be present at the 13th Quinquennial Convention of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith, which will open in Cincinnati, the home city of the national headquarters of the Order, on April 27.
Delegates will represent all seven B’nai B’rith districts in the United States, from Maine to California, and from Canada to Mexico, in which boundary there are more than 400 local lodges with a membership exceeding 60,000. In addition, several delegates from European B’nai B’rith districts are expected, and those who, because of the distance, cannot come in person, will be present by proxy.
