Rabbi Elliot M. Burstein of Temple Beth Israel, was elected president of the Board of Jewish Ministers of Northern California at a meeting today. He succeeds the late Rabbi Jacob Nieto of Temple Sherith Israel who was instrumental in creating the board and who had been its presiding officer in its several years of existence.
Rabbi Rudolph I. Coffee of Temple Sinai, Oakland, was elected vice-president, and Rabbi Melbourne Harris of Temple Emanu-El was chosen secretary.
