Dallas County, Alabama, of which this city is the county seat and principal city, has just concluded a most successful Christmas Seal sale for the Tuberculosis Association, under the chairmanship of Rabbi Jerome Mark.
One thousand dollars were raised, which is twenty-five percent more than its quota set by the State Association. Five hundred dollars was the highest sum ever raised in Selma and the County before. Rabbi Mark doubled his sum, and the state office in Birmngham is now requesting the rabbi to head the tuberculosis work for the county permanently.
