An appeal to British Jews to contribute toward the supply of Matzoth for Jews in Russia was issued by Chief Rabbi J. L. Hertz.
Unless speedy help is forthcoming, a considerable portion of the three million Russian Jews will remain without Matzoth during the coming Passover, Dr. Hertz declared.
