Rabbi S. D. Hurwitz, formerly the spiritual leader of Temple Emanu-El, Davenport, Iowa, has accepted the pulpit of Beth Israel Center of this city. His activities in Phoenix will begin in September. Rabbi Hurwitz’s place in Davenport will be occupied by Rabbi Aaron Lefkowitz of New York.
