Rabbi J. Max Weis, of New York City, addressed the April meeting of the Reading Lodge B’nai B’rith on “The Problems of the Jew in a Confused World.” Rabbi Weis is an executive member of the American Jewish Committee and author of “Great. Men in Israel,” widely used in Sunday schools. The meeting was attended by an unusual number of non-members. Ellis Brodstein, president, and Oliver Goldsmith, immediate past president, were elected to the District Grand Lodge Convention.
