Rabbi Robert P. Jacobs of New York City has been elected rabbi of the Congregation Adaf Emuno of Hoboken, according to an announcement by Bernard E. Marks, president of the congregation. Dr. Jacobs was graduated from Syracuse University in 1929 and from the Jewish Institute of Religion in 1933. He spent the years 1931-32 in Palestine, and during the past year has headed the Hebrew department of the religious school of Temple Israel of New York under Rabbi William F. Rosenblum.
