Rabbi Joseph M. Newberger, formerly of this city, died suddenly in Palestine at the age of 75, according to a cable received by his son, Louis Newberger, a Chicago attorney. Rabbi Newberger had been in Palestine since 1929.
He is survived by six daughters, three sons, nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all living in Chicago.
