Rabbi Nathan R. Rosen, 28 Years Old, Installed at Petach Tikvah Temple

Rabbi Nathan N. Rosen was officially installed last night as rabbi of Temple Petach Tikvah, Rochester avenue and Lincoln place, Brooklyn. Register Aaron Jacoby of Kings County and Rabbi Moses J. S. Abels, president of the Brooklyn Jewish Ministers Association, spoke at the ceremonies which were followed by a dinner.

Rabbi Rosen, who is twenty-eight years old, is believed to be the youngest rabbi in a New York pulpit. He was called to his new post from Savannah, Ga. In a short talk, he explained that his aim would be to bring about a better understanding between the elders of the congregation and the young people of the congregation. Rabbi Rosen is a member of the executive board of Young Judaea.

The other guests of honor at the dinner which followed the installation ceremonies were Samuel Seiderman, president of the congregation; Municipal Court Justice Nathan Sweedler, Mrs. Abraham Schulman, president of the temple sisterhood; Harry Wodowitz, president of the Young Folks League; David Levine, national president of Young Judaea; Municipal Court Justice Frank Wasserman and Rear Admiral Samuel McGowan, U. S. N. (retired), a friend of the Rosen family.
