Rabbi David W. Pearlman of New York has been named executive director of the Yong Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Association, succeeding Frank J. Rubenstein on February 15.
Rabbi Pearlman is thirty-five years old. He studied at Columbia University and at the Jewish Institute of Religion. He was executive director of the Society for the Advancement of Judaism, New York, and educational director of the Euclid Avenue in Cleveland. He helped to organize the College of Jewish Studies in Chicago, later incorprated into the University of Chicago. He is instructor at the College for Jewish Teachers in New York and present rabbi of the Jewish Center at Tea Neek, N. J.
