Rabbi Marius Ranson has accepted a call as spiritual leader of Temple Sharey Tefilo, of this city succeeding the late Rabbi Samuel S. Kaplan, who died from injuries received in an automobile accident December 8 last. Rabbi Ranson for several years accupied a pulpit in Albany, and last year founded the American Synagogue in New York. His formal installation in his new pulpit will take place in the Fall.
