Temple Petach Tikvah selected Rabbi Nathan N. Rosen as its spiritual leader by a unanimous vote of the board of directors of the Temple, it was announced yesterday.
The temple, which is located at Rochester Avenue and Lincoln Place, Brooklyn, ranks as one of the largest congregations in the borough.
Rabbi Rosen, who is a graduate of the Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, was the rabbi of one of the large synagogues in Savannah, Georgia. During his senior year at the Seminary, he acted in the same capacity for the Valley Stream Jewish Center, Long Island. He is a member of the National Governing Board of Young Judaea and vice-president of the Zionist Youth Organization.
