Rabbi Stephen S. Wise has expressed high hopes that the American Jewish Congress, coming to Hotel Breaks here next June, will become “the spearhead of Jewish opinion and Jewish resolution in America.
“It represents the determination of American Jews to defend themselves against the Hitler war which is being waged against Jews in Germany primarily but which would prevail. if Hitler triumphed, in every country including our own,” he said.
