Rabbi Moses Gaster, of the Spanish and Portuguese Jews’ congregations, writing in the Daily Herald today, suggested a loan from the League of Nations for the helping of a wholesale emigration of Jews from Europe to lands either in America or Africa.
These territories, he said, are capable of absorbing from three to four million Jews.
