The Rabbinical Assembly of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America will hold its annual convention this year at the Scarboro Hotel, Long Branch, New Jersey, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 30 to July 2. More than 100 rabbis representing Congregations in all parts of the United States and Canada are expected to be present.
The Hon. A. Harry Moore, Governon of the State of New Jersey will address the first session of the Convention. Addresses will also be delivered by Professor Louis Ginzberg of the faculty of the Jewish Theological Seminary, Rabbi Max Drob, the President of the Rabbinical Assembly, and other members of the Assembly.
Among the questions to be discussed at the Convention are the problems of Adult Jewish Education, the Synagogue and Palestine and the Value of the Center to the Synagogue.
Judge Abram I. Elkus, former Ambassador to Turkey, has made a contribution of $250 to the United Palestine Appeal, according to an announcement made by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, National Chairman of the Appeal.
