The Rabbinical Council of America, closing its three-day annual convention at Andron’s Mountain House, today adopted resolutions opposing Britain’s Palestine policy and condemning Fascism and Communism as “the double-edged” enemy of the Jews. More than 100 Orthodox rabbis attending the convention also adopted a resolution paying tribute to the organization’s president, Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein of New York, on the completion of 25 years in the ministry.

Rabbi Goldstein, in his presidential message, denounced the Rev. Charles E. Coughlin for calling Jews Communistic and asserted that the Jews we e super-patriotic, with a love for America that “is tantamount to a religion.”
