The Radzyminer Rabbi, sixty years of age, who divorced his wife recently after thirty years of married life, has just become engaged to a girl of twenty-six. The attempt of the Rabbi to free himself from his wife extended over a period of twenty years. In conformity with the Jewish law, the Rabbi wished too be divorced when after ten years of marriage his wife was still childless, but for twenty years she refused to agree to the separation.
