Raoul Wallenberg will be named an honorary citizen of Budapest, Rep. Tom Lantos said. The Democrat from California, who survived the Holocaust in Hungary, told JTA that in Budapest recently that the mayor of Hungary’s capital told him that the Swedish diplomat who saved tens of thousands of Jews during World War II will be honored in mid-November.
