Ratner Re-elected President of American-israel C. of C.

Max Ratner, a Cleveland industrialist, has been re-elected president of the American Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it was announced here yesterday. The announcement was made by William H. Bruton, first vice president of the Chamber and vice president of the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. Bruton also announced the election as treasurers of Abraham Goodman, president of Foster-Grant, Co. Inc., Leominster. Mass, and Joseph R. Hamilton, of Short Hills, N.J. Other re-elected officers include Maxwell M. Rabb, New York attorney and Nathan Strauss III of F.S.P. International Corp. who are honorary chairmen. Philip Opher, former economic advisor to the Investment Export Authority of Israel in the U.S. has been appointed executive director of the Chamber.

Correction–Due to an editorial exec, the headline on the third story on Page 1 of the JTA Daily New Bulletin of Wed., July 14 erroneously read; U.S. Foreign Relations Survey Shows 40% Oppose Continued U.S. Arms Aid to Israel. The word should have been Support.
