Mrs. Estelle M. Sternberger was re-elected Secretary of the National Council of Women of the United States at its biennial Convention held in New York City. Mrs. Sternberger was originally elected to this office in 1927. She was also appointed Chairman of a special committee to study the program of the organization and to report at a meeting of the Executive Committee on March 1st, 1930.
