Rabbi William F. Rosenblum of Temple Israel, New York, speaking to a combined meeting of the American Red Cross and the Kiwanis Club here today, urged Americans to recommend that only one banner be permitted to be placed beside the national flag in parades, processions and in public display.
“There is only one flag.” he said, “that deserves to be carried with the American flag or to fly on equal terms with it. It is the banner of the Red Cross.”
