The largest party of immigrants ever to leave England for Palestine departed this week. It was a group of 184, of whom 174, including refugees, had immigration certificates from the last schedule.
The party sailed on a British liner which does not usually stop at a Palestine port but special arrangements were made for disembarkation in Haifa. The refugees were assembled here for one large transport because of the difficulties under present circumstances of obtaining transit visas.
