As evidence of the unprecedented nationwide response to the campaign of the United Jewish Appeal for Refugees and Overseas Needs, a record number of more than 250 community campaigns will have been completed during the first three months of 1939, it was announced today by Rabbis Abba Hillel Silver and Jonah B. Wise, national chairman of the campaign.
