The fine record of Jewish refugees now in Canada in contributing to war industry will help to open the gates of the Dominion to refugees after the war, Saul Hayes, director of the Canadian Jewish Congress, declared at the post-war planning discussion of the annual conference of the Canadian Jewish Congress here yesterday. Samuel Bronfman, national president, stated that Canadian Jews are doing double duty in war time, as Jews and as Canadians. Their loyalty is certain to evoke support of all men of goodwill in post-war planning, he stated.
