Refugee Couple in Asylum After Breakdown

Ludwig Foerder, an illustrious political lawyer and once the vice-president of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish faith, and Frau Foerder, both refugees from Germany, were committed to an insane asylum by police officials after they were found in a street here.

They were suffering from a nervous breakdown brought on by hunger and other difficulties.
