Eleven fellowships have been awarded to refugee scholars and artists now living in France by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany from funds it has set aside for cultural rehabilitation purposes, it was announced here today. The conference awarded 31 fellowships in the United States, six in Britain and one each in Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Canada.
