Dr. Franz Blumenthal, who spent thirty years in the University of Berlin as a skin specialist and who was displaced after Hitler’s advent to power, will become a member of the faculty of the University of Michigan.
Dr. Blumenthal received a two-year appointment from the Board of Regents, to begin in the fall. An anonymous gift made possible the appointment, it was announced.
