Jehoshua Bachman, German Jewish refugee who was arrested here on Thursday for firing a toy pistol through the window of the German embassy, was freed today and placed under police supervision.
Bachman, who was completely rumed by the Hitlerites and forced to leave Germany penniless, adopted this extreme measure, he said, to take revenge after repeated attempts to obtain redress had failed. No one was injured by the shot and Bachman was immediately arrested by the Polish policeman posted outside the embassy.
