The Swiss radio announced today that the 80,000 refugees and internees in Switzerland, many of whom are Jewish, will be required to perform compulsory labor, under an order issued by the Swiss Government.
The decree also provides that in the future, arrangements for feeding the refugees and internees will be made by the Swiss military authorities “in accordance with the general food supply conditions in the country.”
