Terrifying descriptions of persecutions of Jews in Kurdistan were given by a group of Jewish refugees who arrived here today from Kurdistan. The refugees state that of 30 Jewish families at Hamidieh five have been wiped out, Jewish houses looted and two Jewish women kidnaped. The attacks, the refugees claim, are the result of anti-Jewish agitation emanating from Jerusalem in which the Kurds were urged to revenge the blood of Moslems spilled by Palestinian Jews.
