Refugees in Southern Rhodesia who have expressed a desire for combatant service with the forces will be given an opportunity of doing something for the country which offered them sanctuary, it was announced here by R.C. Tredgold, Minister of Defense, in an interview with reporters. A certain number of carefully selected aliens, he added, would be absorbed in the Colony’s Medical Corps. There was no intention of forming separate units for aliens, he added.
