Regents of University of Michigan Approve By-law Banning Bias

A decision banning discrimination by the University of Michigan “against any person because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry,” has been approved as a by-law by the University regents, it was disclosed today.

The by-law also pledged the university to work for the elimination of discrimination “in private organizations recognized by the university” and in “non-university sources where students and the employees of the University are involved.”
