Delegates from all parts of the State will attend the New York State Regional Conference which will be held today in Albany at the Ohav Sholom Synagogue under the auspices of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, it was announced here Friday. The delegates will consider the organization of Jewish communities for preserving and safeguarding traditional Judaism and for carrying its message to the Jewish youth by way of intensive education.
Adult Jewish education is also to be considered in a ## William’ Weiss, national president, will deliver the principal address on “The Program and Policies of the Orthodox Union.” State Senator Albert Weld, president of the Synagogue Council of America, will also speak.
Reports on communal work problems will be given. Three sessions will be held during the day, culminating in a dinner for the delegates.
Joseph Hershberg heads the convention committee.
