The Jewish Teachers’ Seminary opens to morrow for registration in courses that are mapped for young men and women interested in Jewish education from a progressive point of view.
The program includes studies in Hebrew and Yiddish literature and language; Jewish history, philosophy and ethics, and modern Jewish problems. Students are trained for the teaching profession and for social service work. Most of the courses are given in the evenings to accommodate part-time students.
Prospective students may register at the Jewish Teachers’ Seminary, 427 Lafayette street, between the hours of three and four o’clock. Final registration date is October 3.
